I am a Texas State Guardsman.

I am proud to serve my state, my community, and my country as a volunteer.

I will serve honestly, faithfully, and proudly.

I will selflessly defend the constitutions of my state and my country against all enemies foreign and domestic.

I will uphold the traditions and expectations of my unit, my state, and my country.

I will obey the orders of my commanders and NCO's and carry them out quickly and efficiently to the best of my ability.

I am a soldier and I will conduct myself in the highest standard and will act in a professional manner at all times.

No matter what situation I am in, I will never do anything for pleasure, profit, or personal safety, which will disgrace my uniform, my unit, my state, or my country.
